Welcome to Overture. By accessing or using overture.careers (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Overture is a job search platform designed for international students in the United States. We aggregate entry-level positions that support visa sponsorship, provide AI-powered resume optimization tools, and offer automated job application services.

2. Account Registration

• You must sign in using Google OAuth to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information in your profile

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide truthful and accurate information in your resume and profile
• Do not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to submit fraudulent applications
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform's operation
• Respect the intellectual property rights of Overture and third parties

4. AI Services Disclaimer

Our AI-powered features (resume analysis, optimization suggestions, content generation) are provided as tools to assist you. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is used in job applications. Overture does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of AI-generated suggestions.

5. Auto-Apply Service

When you use our Auto-Apply feature, you authorize Overture to submit job applications on your behalf using the information you have provided. You acknowledge that: (a) applications are submitted as-is based on your approved profile and resume; (b) we cannot guarantee that any application will result in an interview or job offer; (c) some employers may have policies against automated applications.

6. Payment Terms

• Paid plans are billed on a monthly subscription basis via Stripe
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload (resumes, profile data). By using the Service, you grant Overture a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service. The Overture platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Overture and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job listings are accurate or up to date. Visa sponsorship information is based on public data sources and may not reflect current employer policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Overture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, application rejections, or reliance on AI-generated content.
